The facelifted Tesla Model S has been revealed with a fresh new look and a variety of new features. It now sports a design reminiscent of the recently-announced Model 3 and the reactions so far have been rather positive.
Introduced in 2012, the Model S is one of the best-selling all-electric vehicles currently on the market. It completely changed the electric car market, whist arguably putting it back in the spotlight.
Many were surprised by the car’s success, since Tesla is a relatively new brand, having only been founded in 2003.
The brand is currently expanding, with its latest model, the Model 3, surpassing expectations and breaking records, before it was even officially released.
Whilst the facelifted Model S hasn’t made any public appearances as of yet, the pictures that emerged give us a tiny glimpse at the vehicle.
Although its overall aesthetic remains true to the original, the front end of the car was changed to resemble that of the new Model S. It’s clear that the brand is going for a specific look, one that’s going to be present across its entire range.
The facelifted Model S will also receive a number of new features. Its standard changer has been upgraded to allow for faster charging and the effective air filtration system from the Model X is also said to be making an appearance.
After the government grand of £4,500, to which UK customers are entitled to, the car will cost around £53,800.
If you’re looking for an all-electric vehicle, you can’t go wrong with a Tesla. The brand has already made a name for itself and with no signs of slowing down it will surely remain in the spotlight for years to come.
