Maserati Levante SUV will be unveiled , ahead of its official Geneva Motor Show debut next month.
Many believe that 2016 is the year of the SUV. Numerous brands are scheduled to launch their very own SUV’s and with the demand constantly growing, we wouldn’t be surprised if the trend continues in the near future.
Although we were aware that the Maserati Levante was heading for Geneva next month, we were finally given a tiny glimpse at the vehicle.
The Levante marks Maserati’s first venture into the world of SUV’s. It’s brand new territory for the brand therefore it will be interesting to see how well it does.
Based on the 2011 Maserati Kubang concept, which debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Levante is quite large, however its styling makes it appear quite luxurious and elegant.
The 5-door luxury SUV will reportedly come with a choice of two engines, a 3.0-litre V6 o a 3.6-litre V8 turbodiesel.
Although at first glance, the Maserati Levante might seem like just another SUV, the closer you look the more unique it gets.
A number of styling elements found on the car add to its overall aesthetic. It’s definitely aesthetically-pleasing, which is quite nice.
It doesn’t feel overly bulky or huge, which is a pleasant surprised. Too many upcoming SUV’s place to way to much importance on trying to be the largest SUV on the market, which usually doesn’t end up working.
With the demand for luxury SUV showing no signs of slowing down, we’re very much looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.
Are you looking forward to the Levante? If not, which new SUV’s are you most excited about?
