McLaren hires 250 new staff to meet increasing demand

2015 has been a great year for McLaren. The British sports car manufacturer has just revealed that it has sold 1,654 vehicles in 2015, which is a record for the brand.

Due to the ever-increasing demand, the company was forced to hire new staff, creating 250 new jobs. This is great news for fans of the brand as well as the industry.

Once the second production shift begins, McLaren claims that it will be able to produce around 20 cars a day, which is an improvement over the current 14 cars a day.

The brand currently employs 1,500 staff, which means that its workforce will increase to 1750.

Currently, McLaren is working on its new Sports Series, which is expected to be completed at some point in 2017 meaning the next 12 months will be very busy for the company.

In the last couple of years the company McLaren experienced an increase in sales, which forced the company to expand and hire more staff.

Will the company’s sales continue to grow in 2016 or has it reached its peak? We’ll have to wait to find out however we are very excited for McLarens new sports series in 2017.
