If you are a car maniac, you might think from time to time, “What’s the fastest car in the world?”. Well, think no more. We have made an ultimate list of fastest cars in the world.
1- Devel Sixteen
This is one of the craziest cars ever created. A Dubai-based company Devel manufactures it. It has a horsepower about 5000 (yes, you read it right) and also (get ready to be blown away) its top speed is 348 mph.
2- Bugatti Chiron
This version of Bugatti has a crazy top speed of 286 mph (unbelievable!). This car has been able to reach 60 mph from the halt in almost 2.2 seconds. Only about 100 units of Bugatti Chiron were manufactured, with each costing about 1.8 million pounds.
3- Koenigsegg one:1
Next, we have the very expensive, fast and rare Koenigsegg One: 1. Only seven units of this version were manufactured in 2015 and were all sold out in the same year. This techno beast can reach from halt to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and tops out at insane 273.4 mph.
4- Koenigsegg Agera R
Koenigsegg’s model Agera R has a top speed of 273 MPH and a horsepower of 1140. This car is capable of gaining a 60 mph speed from halt in mere 2 seconds and then to 186 mph in 11.4 seconds! (that is a world record by the way).
5- SSC Ultimate Aero XT
This lesser known version of SSC had an insane speed of 273 mph and was released back in 2014. It also has some mind boggling stats, 1300 horsepower and 6.9-litre twin turbo VA engine.
6- Hennessey Venom GT
With the top speed of 270 mph and horsepower of 1244, Venom GT is one of the fastest cars in the world. Regardless of setting a world record, the company has not been able to sell all the manufactured units of this car.
7- Bugatti Version 16.4 Super Sport
It is an improved, faster addition of the original Bugatti Veyron. It has the top speed of 267.7 mph, but it is electrically limited to 258 mph to save its tires from bursting. The car’s best feature is not only its speed but also its comfortable interior.
8- Porsche 9FF GT9-R
Released by the German company 9FF, the GT9-R has a top speed of 257 mph, a power output of 1120 horsepower. For better weight distribution, the GT9-R has placed the engine to the centre in contrast to the usual Porsche rear engine placement.
9- Bugatti Veyron
Bugatti Veyron with a top speed of 253 mph was once the fastest car in the world back when it was originally released in 2005. Since then, there has been multiple versions and updates released of the car.
10- Aston Martin One – 77
Built by the British Manufacturer Aston Martin, this vehicle has a top speed of 220 mph and is majorly known for its amazing looks.
